S/N 13140, assembly #2618, all match, .44 caliber, 7 inch barrel, nickel finish, original 2-piece ivory “Mexican Eagle” grips. Manufactured circa 1879-1882. Accompanying M&H, single loop holster by Visalia, San Francisco. Very handsome belt with 12 domed conchos, no cartridge loops, circa 1870s. Condition: strong rifling with scattered black powder oxidation the length of the barrel, 95% nickel overall, grips worn smooth with mellow aging, small amount of shrinking, excellent marks, excellent mechanically. Holster is in excellent condition; Cheyenne plug has been vented, belt leather is light weight and very supple.
