A circa late 1890s-1900 headdress of winter ermine, marabou, buffalo horn and beads. The head cap is made teepee material and covered in strips of ermine, with longer pendants and complete pelts suspended at the back. A pair of buffalo horns are each wrapped with blue glass beadwork at the tips and are tied to the center. Slight restoration to ermine at the back. 11" x 9" x 18".
